New Crappie Regulations Finalized for Eagle Lake (MS)

JACKSON – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) Fisheries Bureau announced new crappie regulations on Eagle Lake in Warren County. The new regulation sets the minimum length limit (MLL) for crappie at 11 inches and the daily creel limit to 30. The 11-inch MLL means crappie must be over 11 inches to be legal size. The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission recently passed identical regulations on Eagle Lake. The new rules are effective October 1, 2015. Reprinted from “The Outdoor Wire”
