Jackson MS Delta Waterfowl Chapter – 2014 Harden Phillips Memorial Clay Shoot at Providence Plantation

New Delta Logo The Jackson, MS Chapter of Delta Waterfowl invites you to join us for the 2014 Harden Phillips Memorial Clay Shoot at Providence Plantation on August 9, 2014. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and breakfast will be provided. Shooting on the 14 station course will begin around 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by a gourmet lunch. In addition to enjoying the challenge of shooting one of the most prestigious clay courses in the Southeastern United States, you will be guided through the course by your own team host trapper. Your team’s trapper will be there to provide insight into the course, tabulate your score and assist you during the days outing. Each team member will receive a Delta Waterfowl gift bag filled with DW goodies and keep sakes of your day. Additionally, there will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams and the “Coot” prize for last place.  The top individual shooter will also be recognized at the awards ceremony and receive a prize. As many of you know, Providence Plantation is also home to “The Duck Flush”; a unique shooting experience where you and your team compete to see how many of the continuously thrown targets you can hit while all shooting at the same time. This has been described as the closest representation of green heads falling into timber ever devised.   The fee for your four man team is $1000 and is tax deductible. Special Raffle – All teams that submit payment by July 25, 2014 will be entered into a drawing for a corporate table ($600 value) at our fall banquet scheduled for November 20, 2014. Payment can be made by check or online at Thank you for your support, Jackson Chapter
